frodm 1
container has been restarted. Only a spinning wheel. Restarting the Shield Pro, same issue. I usually don´t complain on beta version, but when Emby is 3 generations late on hw transcoding I do not hasitate doing so. Happy for any tip fixing this. Cheers, HW+SW: I7-13700 on Unraid. Emby Server 4.8.0.66 beta. Shield Pro 9.1.1.

frodm 1
Thanks. The Emby app on Shield Pro stops as shown in the picture. Log file from the Emby server is included. Please let me know if additional information is needed. Cheers, embyserver.txt
Luke 37094
Hi. Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and see how that compares? https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Thanks.

The example for mounting a drive is for Windows: \\domain;username:password@server\share the Linux version according to ChatGPT is: sudo mount -t cifs //10.10.10.10/myshare /mnt/myshare -o username=user,password=password,domain=mydomain,vers=3.0 Before I start the ride to insanity by adding this line with a remote, does it seem correct? //F Edited January 4 by frodm
justinrh 174
I find it easier to use a browser app on the Shield and download the Emby app from the Emby website. Here is a shortened URL: tinyurl.com/jojo86 There is also an app called "File Manager" that I find easy to use to get to network shares. I use X-plore to side-load APKs, just because that particular Shield already had the app and is the one I side-load Emby on. frodm 1
I tried installing the APK file from X-plore and File Manager+, both not being able to install. Only message was "....not installed". Are there any other way to solve this. Emby is running behind reverse proxy. Connect to url or IP is the same. Emby just spins when starting the app. Inital connection works in both. Sorry for that. I was able to install the file, and go in an out of the app. Many thanks. //
