Stuttering and start/stop when using Google TV with Chromecast. 1080p

I'm having the same issue

 

Google chromecast 4k with the emby server on a Synology DS218+ (6gb ram)

any thoughts?

On the chromecasts i have the standard emby app available on the playstore on the chrome cast

is that not the correct one?

 

from the link you've added I'm redirected to "Emby for Android"  and the page says it's not compatible with the google chromecast device

nope, i ordered now an usb -c hub with etherne port so i can add ethernet to the google chromecast 4k instead of using it with wifi.

although the strange thing is that even episodes of friends in 720p (x264) are stuttering mainly because automatically they start with the quality at 80mbps and i have to change it to 1mbps (that's the video bitrate) to make them work properly
