Video Playback Issues

Recently I have observed two issues with video playback in Emby Theater:

1. When using MPC-BE as an external player, exiting playback of a video in a folder with a complete season of a show immediately triggers playback of the next video in that folder.
2. If no external player is configured, playback of video after stopping playback does not resume from where stopped, but starts again from the beginning.

I don't know if the two issues are related, and I'm less concerned about the second issue, but I would really appreciate any advice anyone has to offer as to how to get the external player working again properly.

TIA

Hi, sounds like you have enabled autoplay of next episodes in your user playback settings.

If you mean this setting, disabling it makes no difference to the behaviour of the external player. It still plays the next episode in the folder automatically on stopping play of an episode.

Right so you pressed play on the entire series, so that's why this happened.

If you instead press play on a single episode then this won't happen.

My fault! A Senior moment.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
