hello all

i run my emby server behind a nginx proxy under a subdomain and custom port.

i installed the latest forum version of the tizen app and when i try to connect it does not work.

I tried both of the below:

https://emby.subdomain.com

https://emby.subdomain.com:port

Who is the certificate authority for your ssl cert?  Not all providers are supported by the TV

Yes, that should work.  So this was working previously?

You should be able to use https://emby.subdomain.com and modify the port in the port textbox to 8920 (or something else if you are not using the default)

yeah no longer works

i tried both putting the port in port box and leaving port blank and adding to domain.

my nginx logs show no connection attempts

Have you compared your nginx setup to this;

Yes

Works on Roku app and Web but not on LG App or Samsung App.

Cant use Roku as it has subtitle issues where all subs are early and no option to add delay.

What exactly happens?

When I press connect it just says cannot find server. I see no logs in nginx to see anything trying to connect.

Is this on the same local network as the server? Are you able to do the same thing with plain http access and have it work?
