plittlefield 44
I’ve configured a Pushover notification every time a user finishes playback. Is there a way to specify the Priority to LOW so that there is no sound?  I’ve looked in the Plugins setting of the server but it isn’t configured! Luke 37994
HI, what do you mean by no sound?
plittlefield 44
Sorry, bad phrasing   I’d like no alert sound. I could set that in my iOS app but I believe the LOW priority Pushover alert has no alert sound by default
Luke 37994
OK yes if that's true then I don't see why it could be added to this:Â https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Pushover
plittlefield 44
Yay, excellent. https://pushover.net/api#priority Should my server’s pushover plug-in settings page have tokens etc in it, because right now I’m getting alerts on my iPhone but the plug-in settings are blank! plittlefield 44
I’m getting Pushover notifications but the settings page for the Pushover plugin on my Emby server is not filled in. Luke 37994
OK this has all been revamped in the upcoming 4.8 server release so you may want to reevaluate once available. Thanks.
rbjtech 4588
The easiest way to configure all of this is by setting up multiple Pushover API services in Pushover itself - and give them multiple names/profiles.  ie a 'Emby Playback' one - for those notifications, just turn off all the alerts/sounds in the end client.  Normal alerts will come through on a 'Emby Alert' profile - those have sounds configured etc.   I have this setup myself for normal alerts that don't alarm/make a sound, and auth failures that do (and make a noise about it ..  ) Edited December 28, 2023 by rbjtech
