Teebs 1 Posted December 16, 2023 Share Posted December 16, 2023 Hello, Looking to use Emby on my Xbox One or Fire TV. Two years I moved into an apartment with friends. Before I had a family router setup where I could easily connect on a Local network as I had full access to my routers login settings and what not, thus getting my PC (the server host) to connect to the smart TV and my Xbox worked with minimal difficulty. However in the new living arrangement I have none of the aforementioned luxuries. Via testing following the support guide on the remote setup connectivity, I'm at the part where the WAN address doesn't show when putting it in the CanYouSeeMe.org check tool. Which leads me to believe my ISP is using a CG-NAT. So that information has brought me here. Thanks, hopefully we can work towards a potential solution on this one.
