I'm not sure. I've only recently been getting back into OTA TV after being away for years. Every source of guide data out there is out of date though, some worse than others. Emby's guide data also probably includes a bunch of channels that no longer exist; if you want I can find out.

Most of them originate from the same place.  We obtain our data from the same main provider as most everyone else.

Makes sense. I figured that was probably the case because most sources seem to have one set of listings or another, both of which are inaccurate for Houston in different ways.

I mean, sure, these stations could fire up some of these subchannels again (except for the KHLM-LD ones on 43; this station moved to virtual channel 12 back in 2021). But I don't think it makes sense to include them in listings when they don't exist. And it's worth noting that these are all local broadcasts; every market in the US has different broadcasts on different channels.

For clarification, this is a screenshot from my HDHomeRun showing what channels I am able to receive. There are a handful of stations (KBTX-DT 3, KCVH-LD 30, KEHO-LD 32, KZHO-LD 38, KBMN-LD 40, KDHU-LD 50) in the Houston lineup that I cannot receive from my location with my antenna, and I have not included any corrections for these in my posts because I am unable to verify what they are broadcasting. But for every other station, I have double-checked that the information in my posts is currently accurate.

Is there some way I can submit these corrections to them? It seems like some of this information is seriously years out of date.

I have submitted your original list to them.  As for the nonexistent channels, I imagine that is something they may or may not get to eventually.  They may even be under contractual obligations that keep them from removing them.
