Thanatos0042 3 Posted December 6, 2023 Share Posted December 6, 2023 My nephew has an Android TV - Hisense and when he tries to run the emby app, it just crashes. We have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with no change., Looks like emby app is 3.3.46 I'm not very familiar with android tv's - is there anything else we can do to troubleshoot this? thank you. I tried to download the emby andorid app from the link above, but it said it was not compatible with the TV. I uninstalled and reinstalled app to ensure it was the newest version. I deleted the server and re-input all the correct information. I tried to log in as admin, but it did the same thing when trying to log in under his id The Emby app freezes for about 20-30 second and then it just shuts down. For what it's worth - I did submit the log to the developers today. It would have been sometime this afternoon between like 1 and 3 or 4 pm. Everything is back in working order now - me and the server. His app still does not work.. Yes - the server is at my house, the tv is at my nephews house. since I got back - I tested with my brother - the sever at my house and a tv & an x-box at his house - everything works on both of those.
