zigil64 0
My 2019 NVIDIA Shield Pro is connected to my soundbar (Samsung Q930B) and that to my TV(LG C1). When I turn on both "enable refresh rate switching" and "Match video resolution" in Emby, it essentially ignores both. For example, it plays a 1080p 23.98fps video at 2160/59.94. Same as when i disable both. However, if I only enable one of these options, then it does that thing. For instance, when "enable refresh rate switching" is on and "Match video resolution" is off, it then plays the same file at 2160/23.98. Is this the expected behaviour on Shield Pro or am I missing something?
ebr 14925
Hi. Can you please play the item you think isn't switching properly for a few seconds and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app?
zigil64 0
Thanks for your help. I just sent two logs at 5.11 and 5.13pm Eastern Time. The first one has both options for refresh rate switching and match video resolution on. The video (720p, 23.98) plays at 2160/59.98. The second one is when I only turned on refresh rate switching. Using this setting, the video plays at 2160/23.98.
ebr 14925
Hi. The system is reporting its refresh rates in such a way that it is confusing the app. We can possibly improve it so it won't do that.
