TCEmby1 8
I'm moving over all my data to another drive and want to preserve my custom images, descriptions etc. I have moved the data to new drive using sudo rsync -avhP I have made duplicate libraries alongside the originals pointing to them before ditching the old drive and data how can I move all my custom metadata over to the new libraries? TCEmby1 8
I didn't plan ahead using nfo files with the data so theres no workaround to just redoing everything. thanks anyway
Q-Droid 665
Is this a replacement or an addition? If you make the new drive look like the old drive then Emby wouldn't know that anything changed.
TCEmby1 8
moved/merged several internal drives to an external, then removed the internal drives. They were too big for the enclosure and were making too much noise Edited November 30, 2023 by TCEmby1
Q-Droid 665
Merging adds to the challenge but could still be doable using bind mounts. Then you would have time to gradually migrate to a single path or keep the multiples.
