I saw it was mentioned back in January that it was coming soon but can't find any official statement on it since. As a long time user of Emby I'm a big fan of the server and browser player but I notice performance is much better using the desktop Theater app. I have tried the Windows Store version of Emby Theater but have issues with the playback of certain files that simply aren't prescent on the desktop version.
