Hello world,

Since I upgrade from FreeBSD 13.2 to FreeBSD 14.0, emby server can't be reach: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

It's the same from various web browser, or a smartTV apps...

I check the FreeBSD connection, SSH is working, IP address is correct, but not the emby access.

I've tried to reboot, or restart the service, and also to check the service status (it's running).

Does someone is running emby on FreeBSD 14?

Cheers,

Abra

Hi,

Thank you for the tip, but there is no log in the log file:

Quote

# ls -l /var/db/emby-server/logs/
total 0

In addition, I can't simply stop the process: "service emby-server stop" never ends. I have to "kill -9" to get it terminated.

I've tried to pkg remove && pkg install, but I face the same issues.

I have installed it with "pkg install emby-server"

Here are my last checks: jellyfin is not working either, and there is no open socket: "sockstat -l" returns

Did you install openssl 1.1.1? Since the update to 3.X.X dotnet binaries are broken and fail to start any service.
