adoteq 0
Hi emby users and emby team, Would it be possible to add support for bookworm decoding on raspberry pi 5? It seems it recognises the encoder, but not the decoder. Awaiting your response, Joannes

TeamB 2353
First some info: https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/raspberry-pi-5/#specification https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Efficiency_Video_Coding my understanding is pi5 has had hardware decoding for AVC (H.264) "removed" but it does look like it has HEVC (H.265) hardware decoding. https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?p=2139082#p2139126 So it looks llike the only hardware acceleration you are going to get on a Pi5 at all will be HEVC (H.265) decoding.
