Napa7m 1 Posted November 22, 2023 Share Posted November 22, 2023 Hi Everyone, I searched but couldn't find anyone with this issue. I am trying to access my Emby server on an external connection. I login through Emby Connect but I get this error message when trying to add the server. I know my port forwarding is working and router isn't blocking me because If I simply enter my home IP into a browser, everything works fine. Chrome is likely force redirecting you to https://app.emby.media, try using http://app.emby.media (drop the "s" from "https"). Confusing because the error message says to try the unsecured link, which I did click on... but like you said, browser forced me to the same secured link apparently, and I didn't realize it.
