V1.6.6 loads but won't run on older TV

Latest USB app V 1.6.6 installed correctly on my UE43KU6510 TV however when I try to run the app it just freezes on the loading screen. There is no rotating circle or any sign of any activity. I tried rebooting the TV and deleting the app and reinstalling, the origional install was over the existing V 1.6.5. None of this works so I have downloaded V1.0.94 so I can at least watch something tonight.

1.6.6 loads/plays fine on my 2018.

However,

• I'm not seeing any background images in enhanced view anymore. 
• Also, I can't select episode subtitles before clicking Play when opening episode details from enhanced screen.  In order to see the drop menu I have to open the library and season first and then episode details.

Guess this is a server thing as I can't select subtitles for episodes when opening from Home there either.  

Movies work though when opening from home.

Hello... another one whose screen also freezes and does nothing. Furthermore, trying to install the previous version 1.6.5 already gives an error.
