steven_pilch 3
Hi All, Having issue with my Live TV buffering on Emby. Not sure what the cause is, it seems that if I use ThreadFin (xTeve) to buffer the stream as a proxy it works better. But ideally I would want to eliminate ThreadFin completely. Let me know if there is something wrong in my setup/config. Thanks. ffmpeg-directstream-cd7fc0b0-fd1f-4cb5-9b69-088c7f8d530a_1.txt embyserver.txt
Luke 37067
Hi @steven_pilchare you still having an issue with this? Have you tried Emby apps on other devices?
steven_pilch 3
Hey @Luke I found another post on this forum for the same issue. Somewhere down in the replies they mentioned using StreamMaster. I have tested that out and it works way better then Threadfin, No more buffering or stuttering. Doesn't address my issue of using another server/app in between but it's working great, so I can't complain. I would note that I am using the native player setting in the app with StreamMaster. To answer your question, I would also see the issue on my Browser, but worked fine on my iPhone. Another note is that if I record the program that is having the issue, the recording play backs fine. Luke 37067
So you're saying you're still seeing the issue in the browser with StreamMaster?
steven_pilch 3
If I use MPV on apple TV there is a sync issue. If I use Native it works without issue. On the web Browser there is no issue with using StreamMaster.
