MagicDoubleM 93 Posted November 3, 2023 Share Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) Just wanted to give a little hint into the direction of "Thorium" which is an interesting fork of Chromium with lots of optimizations and patches. There are also some in regard to HW-video-decoding and audio-codec support. Most interestingly, it involves https://github.com/Muril-o/electron-chromium-codecs to enable AC3 and EAC3 playback, hence emby won't have to transcode to mp3 anymore. I tried it, and it just works (not the Atmos-variants). Small things, I know, but worth to mention I think.
