Meeko 34
Hi @Luke, After .deb installation. Emby Theater cant play hevc and transcode error. Why?: No found the ATI driver and Mesa-Loader! here Pic with error: Solution: Your start script (/usr/bin/emby-theater) don't use a Absolute path for ldconfig! here the Pic: I change it to this: and all is working correct. Please fix it for other Users! Best regards Edited October 29, 2023 by Soldize
Luke 37179
Hi, we'll take a look at this. Thanks for reporting.
alucryd 217
It does not use an absolute path to be compatible with all distros out there, unfortunately not every debian-based distro puts ldconfig in /usr/sbin, and the fact that Debian 12 does not put /usr/sbin in PATH is simply beyond me (it's so ridiculous even that there's probably something else going on, you can't not put /usr/sbin in PATH). In any case I will have to make an exception to look in PATH first, then fallback to /usr/sbin/ldconfig.
Meeko 34
Cool....man could also include a "whereis" instead of the exception.... so the distro does not matter Edited October 30, 2023 by Soldize

I'm using MX Linux 23.2 based on Debian 12.5 and after editing, I can finally use the Emby Theater application
