Hi there, can you please describe your issue in more detail? Thanks.

Hard to describe.

Look at Channels DVR for discovering new content. “On Later”.

That sums it up.

Can you please be more specific about what you'd like to see?

Have you tried the Suggestions tab in our Live TV?

It lists upcoming Shows, Movies, Sports, Kids and News.

Where?

Did you try scrolling down to explore the sections underneath?

Yes, but this doesn’t have sections that indicate things such as my examples above. New shows this week, new seasons…

No easy way to see a category of these sections.

The shows are sorted by upcoming air date though, so doesn't that in effect achieve something similar?

What categories would you like to see?

Separate categories that indicate new seasons, and new shows

So from the app on the phone, or the web interface on the computer, I can build out filters to help see what's new, by filtering it out with "New" and "Ratings".

However, can we get more functionality within the Android TV app to filter within Live TV / Programs or build two new categories that do the filters for us?

This would greatly improve the experience for the end user in terms of discovering new content, new seasons, etc.

Hi.  Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and see how that compares?

https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html

Thanks.

Yes it has those features since it looks like this is meant for a phone not a tv.

i noticed the following issues.

- scrolling the live tv guide it goes all over the place from far right to left.

- channel up/down is backwards on the live tv guide

- channel buttons don’t work anymore?

We are working on unifying them. Thanks.

Trying to get a straight answer here.

Will the speed of the new app be on par with the Android TV version?

As of now it’s just way to slow to transition between menus. It’s driving me mad. To slow on my GTV and TiVo stream 4K.
