rtmc 0
so ive got a new ds923+. Two new drives installed mainly to be used as an emby server. I have a windows server but will migrate manually and rebuild. Installed emby from the package center and just went to add a test library that has a handful of movies in it. emby doesnt seem to be able to see the folder but i can add it if i enter the entire path and even then the contents cant scan. So reading up it appears that I need to give emby permissions. So i go and look at permissions and there are only the two accounts that I have made one admin and one user. no "emby" or "embyserver" or anything of that kind. Any help greatly appreciated. rtmc 0
ok feeling quite dumb. I was able to change the permissions with the pull down. The folder and subsequent folders are now visible when I add the library. However, when I scan nothing is found. There are a variety of files in the sub folders avi/mpk/mp4. Not sure why the scan emby is not finding the files.
