Emby Theater dowload location problem

Hi,

since the version 1.1.501.0 (Emby Theater from the MS store), it can't remember the download location.

I tested with today version (1.1.502.0) and the bug is still there.

If I go in Downloads, in settings, the field 'Download location:' is empty and if I click the looking glass icon to set it, it work.... but if I leave this page and come back, it is empty again.

It still download things, but I never found exactly where it put the saved files when it is empty.

It seems resolved now, without a new version.

Here is what (I think) I did:

Before, I was always trying to reenter the previous value (c:\mbi) but it didn't download there.

I tried to change to a new place (ex: c:\temp) and then rechange it to c:\mbi.

Now, it download correctly to c:\mbi (I still see the field as blank when I quit and come back to the page).

 

It is like reentering the value as before, the program did bother to save it, but when I forced it to a new value, it then really save it.

 

Either that or something completely different I don't know about made it correct again.

Hi, it is resolved for the next version. In the meantime, the value is saving as you've said, it's just not reflecting when you come back to the screen. Thanks.
