My FreeIPA LDAP server plays nice with other services like Opnsese, Portainer, etc. However, when I try to log in to Emby, I receive an error notice about my username and password being invalid.

here's the screenshot of LDAP Plugin Setting

Okay, I figured out the answer to my own question. The log file states that "Emby Premiere is required for LDAP." Seriously, though? Given that I recently switched from Jellyfin, therefore I'd only be willing to pay to support the development if I could be certain that it will work with my LDAP server.

I appreciate you directing my attention to the matrix chart; it's very helpful. I bit the bullet and purchased a monthly subscription, and I'm happy to report that it's performing admirably. A feature that I would want to see in LDAP is selective permission control. Rather than using the global permission, I would prefer to use a group filter for users and admin.
