level31nick 0 Posted September 7, 2023 Share Posted September 7, 2023 I'm currently hosting my emby server on my Synology DS920, and when trying to play 4K H264 Video with the Emby for Android App it simply doesn't play whereas 1080p H264 videos play fine on my phone. Anyone know what could possibly be the issue as I don't think it's a wifi problem as I'm able to play the videos on my phone through SMB and I can play it perfectly fine with my laptop as well. I'm haven't endabled hardware transcoding or anything so I'm not sure what could be the issue or what to check Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Because it seems it may be a converting issue. Because my 4k videos play fine directly from the bluray uhd disc on my phone.
