DaninFuchs 1
Hi all. Thanks for your time. I'm a huge advocate. I have a large library. I've discovered that its naming convention is causing intermittent issues with Emby being able to detect files. I've changed my naming convention for future imports, but that leaves me with a problem; my existing files are named "improperly." It's a big library. I won't discuss specifics. I can have Sonarr rename everything "correctly" but -- If I rename everything, will Emby need to re-scan every single file, re-download every single cover art, re-generate every single intro skip datafile? Or will Emby match the art/intro-skip/metadata to the files by hash/etc? (Why can't we flag all of this to be stored next to and named with the media as with subtitles, extra art, etc?) Thanks for confirming. I guess I'll skip that. What a shame there isn't an option to save these things alongside the media. I mean, aside from the other options where you can save some of the things alongside the media.
