Strange issues between versions - Windows App Store vs Windows Install

I've been having some weird discrepancies between the Windows App Store version of Emby Theater and the Windows installer version.  The App Store version tends to force transcoding (even when not necessary) whereas the Windows installer version does not, on the same piece of media.  Similarly, subtitles for the App Store version seem to be very hit-or-miss, requiring subtitles to be toggled off and back on to function, or will just intermittently stop functioning in the middle of playback.

Are any of these known issues?  I like the way the App Store version controls better, but it seems to be the inferior version when it comes to playback.  Using the latest beta of Emby Server and the latest versions of both apps.

Hi, yes currently it is a tradeoff between the two apps but we are working on unifying them together into a new windows app that will bring the best of both into one. So stay tuned for that.
