DonVito 1
After a journey to Plex, I'm currently evaluating switching back to Emby. Plex is too bloated for me, and it's evolving too much in a direction that doesn't suit me. Different subject. Currently Emby runs parallel to Plex on my NAS (Unraid) and only has read permissions to my library. The folder and file structure of my library is predefined by other tools and I don't want to change it. Currently it looks like this: /movies/Movie Name (YYYY) [tmdb-123456]/Movie Name (YYYY) [QUALITY].mkv Emby has problems with the correct assignment of movies, because according to the Wiki instead of "tmdb-" a "tmdid-" is expected in the folder. Is there a way to adjust the side of the Emby? The same problem may arise with "imdb-" and "tvdb-." Thank you in advance. There are already similar problems and requests here in the forum, but finding this particular problem turned out to be difficult. Sorry, it should have been discussed this way. Solution DonVito 1 Posted August 26, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted August 26, 2023 Since I definitely decided to switch, I reconfigured the other apps and rewrote all the folders. Detection rate now seems to be 100% in Emby.
