alon 1
Facing some strange problems. 1. some blue-ray fold and ISO don't display in "Class" but they can ben found in "folders" Compare these 2 screen shots, you can find 5 video files(ISO or blu-ray folders) are missing in "Shows". 2. These video folders or files cannot display the "identify" option in 3-dot menu. Usually you can find "Identify" option after "Edit Images". But there is no "Identify" option for these "abnormal" files, which can be played by other blue-ray media players. 3. Tried several times to "scan library files" and "refresh metadata" but didn't work. Question, How to make the "identify" option available?
GrimReaper 3325
How are your files named and organised? They have likely not been recognized as series, hence you cannot Identify them. Edited August 24, 2023 by GrimReaper

Yes, I'll make them well organized but I don't think that it's not the reason to make such "identify" option invisible issue. Here is a sample. I reorganized one of these unreachable files. Name: Our universe.iso Action: 1. change the file name to "宇宙探秘3D.iso" 2. rescan the folder. 3. refresh metadata. 4. check if the video post exists in themoviedb. "YES, it does." 5. no "identify" option in 3-dot menu yet. Edited August 24, 2023 by alon
Luke 37180
Hi, how are your files named and organized? It is most likely the problem.
alon 1
It's like this: Ancient Aliens S01.3Disc Edition 2010 1080p Bluray I believe that it should be the search engine problem more than the file naming problem. I can search these videos in TMDB manually but search engine couldn't.

You can't add/identify movie in a TV Show type library, you need to make Mixed content type library if you want both TV shows and Movies bunched together. As for Cosmos A Spacetime Odyssey, it is likely due to filefolder naming/structure, hence: 8 hours ago, GrimReaper said: How are your files named and organised? But still one cannot display well either in movie or in TV. Finally I had to update manually.
