macOS Emby App crashes on start

On macOS (13.4.1 on an M1 Mac) the Emby App (version 2.2.10 installed via the App Store) often fails to start and crashes with the following crash report. The issue can only be resolved with a reboot of the system. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but the error persists. Has anyone else run into this / have any suggestions?
