Brand new Synology - emby demands username and password

Says it all.

Brand new Synology DS1821+ running 7.2

Installed emby - opens in browser window showing correct IP, but demands a username and password.

Tried every combination of username / password / emby connect username / synology username under the effing sun.

It's wasting many hours of my life and making me want to return the Synology for a refund AND get my money back from Emby. I've bought a license which simple doesn't work.

How the HELL do you get a "Simple" thing like emby running on a "Simple" thing like a brand new DS18021+?
