L3gux 3
Hey, I bought a Premiere Licence last year and use Emby on my DS720+ I installed the newest DSM-Update and now Emby does not start anymore. Can't really install another version manually, because it says that downgrading is not possible. Current DSM Version: DSM 7.2-64570 Update 1 Current Emby Version: 4.8.0.2-7040800002 (Beta) I am aware that I can just delete the package and reinstall but I believe that this would wipe my existing configuration, which would be unfortunate. Is this salvageable? Should I try to install the newest Beta Version "emby-server-synology72_4.8.0.39_x86_64"? Thanks in advance!

Solution FrostByte 5052 Posted June 30, 2023 Solution Share Posted June 30, 2023 Correct, you can't just install stable 4.7 on top of beta 4.8 as DSM sees 4.7 as being an old version. Unless you want to fall back, just load the latest beta release for DSM 7.2
L3gux 3
Thank you @Luke& @FrostByte, with your help I could resolve the problem by updating to the latest Beta. I had no problems doing so and the server works as intended. 1
