mrmorrison 19
Hi everyone, since I switched from windows 10 to windows 11, I have problems with playing some movies from my library (server installed on pc), when I try to view them on my tv (with the emby sideload app) , which is perfectly capable of playing the movie but for some reason, according to the server, this is not true. The error "System.ArgumentException: System.ArgumentException: User does not have video remuxing permission." appears in the log. This leaves me a little perplexed since the internal reader of the TV can read it without problems. I have always had for my user, in the emby settings, all transcoding options deactivated. Now I have windows 11 and suddenly it doesn't work anymore. below are the details of one of the movies i am trying to play: Video ID : 1 Formato : HEVC Formato/Informazioni : High Efficiency Video Coding Profilo formato : Main 10@L5@Main Formato HDR : Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, dvhe.08.06, BL+RPU, HDR10 compatible / SMPTE ST 2086, HDR10 compatible ID codec : V_MPEGH/ISO/HEVC Durata : 2o 3min Bitrate : 19,0 Mbps Larghezza : 3.840 pixel Altezza : 2.160 pixel Rapporto aspetto visualizzazione : 16:9 Modalità frame rate : Costante Frequenza fotogrammi : 24,000 fps Spazio colore : YUV Sottocampionamento croma : 4:2:0 (Type 2) Profondità bit : 10 bit Bit/(pixel*frame) : 0.095 Dimensione traccia : 16,4 GiB (93%) Titolo : UHD DV8 HDR10 [19Mb/s] Lingua : Inglese Default : Si Forced : No Intervallo colore : Limited Colori primari : BT.2020 Caratteristiche trasferimento : PQ Coefficienti matrici : BT.2020 non-constant Colori primari display mastering : Display P3 Luminanza display mastering : min: 0.0001 cd/m2, max: 1000 cd/m2 Livello luce contenuto max : 405 cd/m2 Livello luce media fotogramma max : 355 cd/m2 Audio #1 ID : 2 Formato : E-AC-3 JOC Formato/Informazioni : Enhanced AC-3 with Joint Object Coding Nome commerciale : Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos ID codec : A_EAC3 Durata : 2o 3min Modalità bitrate : Costante Bitrate : 768 kb/s Canali : 6 canali Disposizione canale : L R C LFE Ls Rs Frequenza campionamento : 48,0 KHz Frequenza fotogrammi : 31,250 fps (1536 SPF) Modo compressione : Con perdita Dimensione traccia : 681 MiB (4%) Titolo : Dolby Digital Plus Atmos 5.1 Lingua : Italiano (IT) Tipo servizio : Complete Main Default : Si Forced : No Indice complessità : 16 N. oggetti dinamici : 15 Numero canali letto : 1 canale Configurazione canale letto : LFE Do you have any suggestions about it? Thanks for the reply. I did as you said: activated all transcoding settings and the movie started (without dolby vision though). Attached is the register ffmpeg-transcode-a2a4e694-6d84-444f-ac3c-1c597dabc827_1.txt
mrmorrison 19
I would like to clarify that the film was started from the app installed on the television. In the log it appears as if the computer is playing the movie. But maybe I read wrong

Yes, because DV can't be transcoded, it's falling back to HDR10 layer, but your HW tonemapping is disabled: Quote Info Tone Mapping would be desired, but hardware tone mapping is disabled Anyway, you're using sideloaded standard app beta, a bit outdated: Quote App: Emby for Android 3.2.79 SONY KD-55A89 As a first step, download and install latest version (3.3.12) and see how does that compare: https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Also, you can download native AndroidTV client app from Play store on your TV and check behavior.
