Hi all,

Since the M1 Mac architecture transition, M1 Macs have been able to install and run iOS apps natively. However, when I try to install the iOS emby client app from the app store, it doesn't show up. See attached screenshots. I do not have the Rosetta translation layer installed for translating x86 applications, and I do not want to install in just for Emby.

Am I missing something, or was the iOS Emby client configured to not show up for install on M1 Macs?

Hi, good news. With the next update to Emby for macOS, you will be able to run natively on m1 macs without the Rosetta translation layer.

Any ETA on when this update will go live for Mac OS?

We are working on getting it out as soon as we can. Thanks.
