trinected 7 Posted June 14, 2023 Share Posted June 14, 2023 While the movie needs to be transcoded, the server might be busy with other transcodings. therefore, the the new one will lagging when the transcoding cannot be done with movies fps. it would be really user friendly to add an option to give the user a popup with the info that the server is busy and give them the choice to cancel play or keep on viewing laggy content.
