This is your main movie folder I presume. You can add a picture for each folder to use manually if Emby does not auto generate one. Click on three dots for each folder and select edit images, point to path where your downloaded your image and select.

Hi, please try running a library scan of all libraries and see if that helps generate an image.

please try running a normal library scan of all libraries and see if that helps generate an image.

Hey Luke,

I am having a similar issue but only with the ARM version (4.7.13 and 4.7.12) of Emby Server.   I am building a new M1 Mac mini media server to migrate away from my aging Synology NAS, and am encountering the same issue where the library images is not generating.  I have re-scanned the library, as well as replaced all metadata w/images but with the ARM binary it never creates a library image.  I also tried fetching the library image with the REST ImageService API, and got a 200 with no content.

When using the x86 version of Emby it generates the library images correctly, so this issue seems related to the ARM version of EmbyServer.  I have attached the logs.  Let me know if there's anything else I should try.

Thank you!

Hi, are you sure this is the log from when the problem was experienced? I don't see much activity in here. Thanks.

Sorry, I created a new library, manually scanned it and waited an hour+ but still no library image.  All this should be in the attached debug log.  I'm not sure what in the log would indicate a library image update/failure...   Thank you!

No errors in the ARM log, but not seeing the collage image generation step being executed by EmbyServer.

Still a problem with 4.7.14.0, I added a new library and have been trying for a week or more to get the collage to show up with no luck.  I added the same library to my Synology and it updates within a few minutes.

HI, this is improved in the upcoming 4.8 server release. Thanks.

This is also the case for me on a new installation on an M1 Mac Mini. I thought I had missed something really basic and checked through all my settings several times! Thanks OP for flagging this. Any indication please of an eta for the 4.8 update @Luke? Thanks.
