Synology (DSM 7.2+) or Synology (DSM 7) Emby on download page ?

Which one is for my Synology DS 220 + ? 

I am on DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 5  right now.

 

Why did my Synology NAS not alert me to update to DSM 7.2 ?

Should I install DSM 7.2 ?

DSM 7.2 is rolling out in phases just like always.  You can wait, or you download and upgrade now.

Use the Emby server 7.2+ link to upgrade Emby after upgrading to DSM 7.2 or higher.   Use the other link until then.

One last stupid question what happens if I update Emby to 4.7.12 before upgrading to DSM 7.2 ?

Is it still ok to upgrade to DSM 7.2 after even though I used the Emby 4.7.12 for DSM 7+ instead ?

That's okay.  

You will just have to reload 4.7.12, but using the version compiled for DSM 7.2 the second time

After upgrading to DSM 7.2 your NAS will say that Emby package is incompatible with DSM 7.2 and Emby server won''t start.  Then just download Emby 4.7.12 for DSM 7.2 and install it over top.  Works fine.
