tamasmx 2 Posted May 11, 2023 Share Posted May 11, 2023 We often listen to music on our LG WebOS TV, however the built-in feature of the TV to turn off display (Go to Settings -> Display -> Power saving mode -> turn off screen) is a lot of steps to do. Still, it is just great not to have anything showing, partially energy saving and also to avoid distraction. This is especially good for children. Can we perhaps put a button somewhere on the screen or even bind this to a hotkey on the remote that exists on every TV model but we rarely (or never) use? Say, either colored "teletext control buttons" on the bottom? PS. As a compliment, it is really great and easy to start off with the dockerized version of the server, and I highly like the ARM support (raspberry pi).
