No Video backdrops in Fire TV

Hi all

Just waondering if the video backdrops are supposed to play on Fire TV or Roku. MIne dont play but not sure if there is a setting I have missed.

Not supported on Fire TV (AndroidTV app), you can sideload standard Android app for that feature.

Not a Roku user, but I would assume not supported either - I might be wrong, though.

Thanks for the info, can you tell me the process to sideload the APK. I havn't done this before.

Thanks for the help, I worked it out and sideloaded it.

Only thing is the video backdrops still don't play. Went through all settings and can't work out how to get them playing.

Also, I can't find an option to downmix audio to stereo.

Any help appreciated.

Have you enabled theme videos in app Display settings and you actually have video backdrops in your media folders properly configured/scanned/imported?

Not (yet) supported in standard Android app.

Hi

Yep, have backdrops in every TV show and they work on my PC.

I will check for theme videos in the app again. 

Nevertheless, without downmixing sound is horrific. On the standard app it has the downmix settings.
