2 shows with same first 2 words got mixed up under version.

So the newer Love & death got mixed up with Love, death and robots,

and now the episodes show up as versions, and the newer show doesn't appear at all on metadata list. How to fix this?

Yeah, it got mixed up with love death and robots. Any easy fix?

Rename series folders as:

Love & Death (2023) [tvdbid=402181] 

and

Love, Death and Robots (2019) [tvdbid=357888]. 

Scan media library.

Hm, it shouldn't, but try removing both show folders (named exactly as above) from your parent TV shows folder, scan media library, put them back, scan again.

Still the same, i moved it last night then left it,

this morning i return it then couple of hours later it's listed as the old shows again.

Interestingly when i return it there was 2 empty shows folder for the 2 shows that doesn't contain anything, just the metadata,

i deleted it before emby rescan it but it doesnt make a difference

Delete all of those prior importing/scanning od alternatively disable NFO Reader in your library settings.

Still no luck.. maybe create the correct nfo for each?

Tbh, don't see how would that be possible, assuming you have done:

1) Removed those show folders from your TV shows parent

2) Run Scan media library scheduled task 

3) Renamed series folders as per above

4) Deleted all existing NFOs (tvshow.nfos, season.nfos and all episode.nfos)

5) Put those series folders back into parent folder

6) Run Scan media library scheduled task again

Post server log upon doing all that. 

Edit: What are your library enabled meta-providers and in what order?

I only found prefered metadata language and country (english and US)

Yes i did rename them like that, I just thought he asked for the format in general for my whole library.

Series Metadata downloader, all ticked:

- Thetvdb 

- Themoviedb

- The open moviedatabase

Episode metadat downloader :

only thetvdb is ticked

In process of doing this, scan takes long time since my library is huge,

Btw something i noticed.

You might have deleted the folders at the exact time that operations were currently in progress.

I think i understood what caused this, the 2 folders were  also listed under sonarr, so when i renamed it, sonarr automatically recreate those 2 folders.
