DV will be tone mapped but the picture will appear correct and for HDR10, you'll notice the picture will have great contrast and color depth. If it's HDR10 the stats will say bt2020, DV is different and the stats will probably show it as bt709, because of the way it's read. If you want to use your conf for hardware acceleration, just set it to 'unset' in the Theater settings. Or are you asking about video output/gpu-next, which is not hardware acceleration?
