Home Movies Library - sub-folders show as empty - next-gen 6.2.22

When browsing a Home Movies & Video library via the add-on (i.e. not added to kodi database), subfolders show as blank. Other clients display subfolders as expected. Other library types, like Mixed-Media, show sub-folders correctly.

Steps to recreate:

1. Create a folder somewhere with video files and sub-folders also with video files
2. Create a new Home Movies library type
3. (optional) Verify sub-folders work as expected on web client and android app client
4. Start Kodi and browse library using either the "Library Name" or "Folders"
5. Click on sub-folder and get blank Kodi page

Please use 7.X or even 8.X version (Also upgrade Kodi 19 or higher).

6.X is end of life.

Thanks for the reply. Will 7.X work with Kodi 18?

I have no plans to ever upgrade from 18 since the only skin I really like has no support for any version beyond 18. The only thing that might get me to change my mind is if they ever get a version of Kodi that can handle Dolby Vision in all container formats.

No, 7.X supports only Kodi 19 or higher

Ok. One day I'll have to bite the bullet I suppose, but until then "Mixed content" it is . Thanks!
