Elraser 1
Hello all, I have two LG TVs a 55 and a 65 , I have the problem that on the 55 inch everything is played very well but on the 65 inch the movies in 4K always jerk and have to buffer, in the overview I have seen that with the 55 inch a direct playback takes place but with the 65 inch is transcoded, what can be the reason for this? Streaming is from a Synology. Best regards
Luke 37118
Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
SamES 891
The short answer is that the newer TV doesn’t support DTS so the audio has to be converted. Your graphic shows that it is only converting at 8 fps which is way too slow. Basically your server isn’t powerful enough to convert the file. Does the file have an ac3 track that you can select instead?
Elraser 1
ahh ok shit thats what i expected. Feels bad to buy a new TV that dont have DTS support anymore. Thanks for help. I was able to watch it with the video station from the synology now so at least i have an workaround.
