Emby Connect not working, keeps looping asking to login again

Hello, I'm trying to login to emby from my Roku while traveling.  When I try to use emby connect, I get the pin, then from my laptop go to https://emby.media/pin and enter the pin number.  I get a response that the pin is good and accepted.  I then go back to the roku and it tells me to do it again.  If I try to login manually, entering my userid and password, it works, but if I leave the app for any reason (go to the home screen, etc.) I then have to login again.  If I login from a browser, it works, no issues.  Here are some screenshots.

Nevermind, found this post: 

 

The problem was I had to add back in my email address in my profile for emby connect.  That resolved the issue.

How did you add back in the email address??  thanks.  I am no longer out of state, so can't test, but would like to know how to get it to work.

Login to emby from the web... https://app.emby.media

After you login, click on the gear icon (upper right corner, next to your profile picture.

You should now be in the server dashboard.  On the left side, select "users" under Server

Click on your user

Your user will be displayed with and you'll see the following text:

Edit this user's profile, image and personal preferences.

User Name, you'll see and entry for:

(Optional) Emby Connect email address:

 

If empty, enter your email address and then press save. 

If an email address is there, remove it, press save, then enter it and press save.

 

You'll then receive an email to that address that will ask you to validate.

You sign up for emby connect here:  https://emby.media/connect.html

I don't know how to help you if you can't remember your email address. You can try to sign up again, just in case you never signed up in the first place.  The system will notify you if that name has already been used.

Thank you, I think I got it.  Can't verify, because I am no longer at that location.
