DirkZ71 4
Metadata of movies is easy to get but for series it doesn't work at all. E.g. how to get the Metadata of the series "Monaco Franze (1983)" with the ID 41003 on themoviedb.org? Which settings are required to get these metadata loaded? I put in the correct ID and get a different movie as proposal "Frühstück bei ihr" instead of "Monaco Franze".
GrimReaper 3310
What library type is that? As it appears you're querying movies, not TV shows.
DirkZ71 4
I have tried different types "Mixed Content", "Movies" and "TV Shows". No matter what I choose, I don't get the metadata of series.
GrimReaper 3310
How are your files named and organised? And let's stick to a single library type: either make it TV show-type library or make it Mixed content-type library (make sure you have Season folder in second case). Happy2Play 8296
Do to providers having same id on /tv and /movie, so identification works off of Emby's auto detection of content type. In Mix Content Emby has to determine it is TV before it can query /tv.
DirkZ71 4
The filename is "Monaco Franze.mkv" - the name of the TV-movie. It is contained in the library "TV Shows". I think there is no way to get these metadata. I tried different settings and apps (also PLEX, Jellyfin) - nothing works when it comes to TV shows. Well it is 10 episodes so you would name it S01E01-E10.mkv Monaco Franze: Season 1 (1983) — The Movie Database (TMDB) (themoviedb.org) Or is it the Special? S00E01 Monaco Franze: Season 0 — The Movie Database (TMDB) (themoviedb.org)
GrimReaper 3310
Monaco Franzen is listed as a TV show both on TVDB, TMDB and IMDB - how do you expect to identify it as a movie? What kind of movie it is anyway? Summary? All episodes combined into one? Or? https://thetvdb.com/search?query=Monaco franze https://thetvdb.com/series/monaco-franze#general https://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=Monaco Franze https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/41003-monaco-franze-der-ewige-stenz https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0085058/ Edited March 23, 2023 by GrimReaper Cross-posted
DirkZ71 4
I have combined all series into one file.
Happy2Play 8296
Minus you creating custom metadata and leaving it without providerids it is S01E01-E10.
