Audio defaults to a foreign language

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am sure there is a setting either on the server or the user app. When I go to play a movie it always defaults to a foreign language like French. Same thing with subtitles. I have to change it to English before I watch any movie, same for some TV shows. What setting do I need to change to default to English? It seems to work fine on FireFox but not on my Nvidia Shields or Firesticks.

Thanks Pain

What are your App settings-Playback-Audio settings?

What do your Shield and Firestick app show in App settings (cog icon top-right) under Sub/Audio Defaults tab?

Are your audio tracks tagged with a language? Can we please see an example?

Thanks.

Where do I find that? Everything is set to English that I know of. Thanks.

Then maybe let's start by going over a specific example. Thanks.

Not once have you shared your Shield/Firefox settings though asked twice, instead you shared Web App setting where it is working, as per:

Can you share settings from your Shield and/or Firestick app settings, as those are the apps where it doesn't work as expected?
