What is your behaviour for newly added content set to in Settings>Library>Advanced tab? Is your RTM on? Do you have any inotify issues in your log? Which client app? Could you post server log. Can you go over a specific example of the issue. But if new item does not show on Latest would suggest "Date added behavior for new content:". What is your setting as the image above is cut off. I tired with the "Schedule Tasks" and settings the scan media library every 45 minutes and it works. I still don't understand where is the option to activate the Real Time Monitor. I am attaching my screenshots which are the same as yours. I don't understand why it doesn't work. I'm also fine with updating with schedules.
