do I have to have access to someone else server?

not sure why I paid for a year if I have no access please help me understand

What is the question here?

You get info from whoever is allowing you access to their server.  But have no idea what you paid for.

 

Emby is NOT a media streaming service. We provide no content. Emby is a Personal Media Server platform. You must have your own server installed and your own media (or Live TV tuner). Please only purchase one of the items below if you have your own Emby Server already installed.
