daldana 47
Tax return coming in soon, so I'm looking to replace an old 3rd gen i5 server without raising too much Cain with the better half. Anyone have pros or cons comments about the below? Thanks. Dibbes 431
Depends what you want and what your use-case is, really... NUC is probably a little friendlier on the electricity bill but has less options to expand if you want to add a GPU for example.
daldana 47
Thanks for the comment Dibbes! I think the iGPUs in both machines are good enough that I wouldn't have to add a dedicated GPU, but you're right about the expansion options being somthing to think about. Electrical use is not much of worry.
