I am using Top Picks plugin, which creates custom library with *custom* media item that will points to original media when playing it. My issue. 1. If Top Picks creates custom item based on TV-show content, i have no issue on clicking the *custom* media item created by the plugin. 2. if Top Picks creates custom item based on Movie content, I have issue where clicking on it will definitely kill my server. server : raspberry pi4b with physical harddisk attached to it. This is the best debug log i can get for this issue, in attachment. Please help me on solving this issue. Couple quick questions: Is this on the dashboard, viewing it on the actual pi? Do all the Emby clients crash the server on raspi when you start playback? If the Emby log is not showing the exception, then perhaps a syslog would. as long as the performance hit is minimal, im okay. storage shouldn't be issue since raspi os runs on nvme 128gb.. can provide steps for it? Sure can. I definitely don't want to bloat the pi with a log. Before we do that, I'm going to load emby on a pi and load top picks. Just need some time to get it working. I haven't trued this before. I just have to kill my pinhole dns. my setup for my raspi is 1. then install w raspian lite 2. install omv6 via script 3. enable docker & portainer via omv6 4. mount drives (and set smb path) via omv6 5. open up portainer, docker-compose emby with drives' path Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chef 3746 Posted March 15, 2023 Share Posted March 15, 2023 I'm back! And with some bad news. I can't seem to figure out why movies act the way they do on raspberry pi. The code is exactly the same for setting up tv shows as movies. We just create a deeper folder structure for tv shows in top picks. I just don't know. It's disappointing to say the least, and I will gladly refund the plugin to you @Darkseidd. I believe there is a larger issue here then top picks. Thread got moved here by mods and title got modify to specific on top picks..
