marshall409 0
Should I expect any difference in reliability - particularly with recording shows - when using xTeve buffer on or off?
Luke 37064
Hi, we generally suggest not to buffer as Emby Server will usually also have it's own.
marshall409 0
Perfect thanks. Also wanted to ask lets say I had a spotty connection to the IPTV server and Emby loses the connection in the middle of a manually scheduled recording (time and channel), will it continuously try to reconnect and restart the recording? The main thing the Emby buffer does is allow the single stream to be used across multiple clients and/or recording at the same time. A provider disconnection may still interrupt recordings although it will retry when this happens.
