Hi I have Emby on a WDPR4100 and I have another WD PR4100 where I can add libraries by placing the network folder:

\\192.168.1.101\-EBOOKS

And works great !

Recently I've just acquired a new WD EX4100 and I have shared folders too in there with the same configuration that the other PR4100 but Emby is not capable to browse the network folder, in fact sees nothing in \\192.168.1.102

\\192.168.1.102\-EBOOKS

I do not remember if for the first PR4100 added some permissions via SSH, If I recall correctly yes, I had to add some permissions but now I cannot find any topic that helps.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks

In fact, this is an ebooks library but happens to all media, seems Emby is not capable to see the EX4100 shared folders but sees the other PR4100 ....

Re: identical discussion here FYI:

No, are different topics:

Gamebrowser topic: Only gamebrowser does not work, other libraries pointing to the same server (NASDATA - 192.168.1.101), work perfectly

EX4100 topic: Not reachable at all by any type of library, in fact putting \\192.162.1.102 does not browse the server content, but putting \\192.168.1.101 (NASDATA) browses the server content.
